Waste streams, secondary raw materials & by-products

Our core activity is the trade in foundry- and steel qualities. In addition, we also focus on specific other qualities in the field of non-ferrous metal.

Ferrous-metals

As a wholesaler Limburg Recycling purchases ferrous metals among others from scrap dealers and specialized recycling companies and sells them to steel factories and foundries. We mainly focus on special qualities.

Tyre wire

Ferrous Tyre wire from shredding and granulation of car- and truck tires with a pollution of less than 5%.

Incineration scrap

Ferrous incineration scrap fractions from a Waste Incineration Plant (WIP), Waste Energy Central (WEC) and/or WIP/WEC bottom ash processing machines, in all qualities and sizes.

Foundry quality's

Deep drawing packages 30x30cm or 40×40 cm, galvanized packages 40×40 cm, cast iron, brake discs, rails, low-manganese chopped scrap etc.

Slags and
scraps

Ferrous slag and scraps from foundries, steel factories or stone wool manufacturers. They can have increased sulfur and phosphorus and different sizes.

Ferrous fines

Mill scale, welding slag, sieve fractions from soil bathes, ferrous from soil cleaning or other small ferrous fractions.

Turnings

Steel turnings, shavings or saw dust from ferro alloys.

Cans

Post-consumer tin steel cans or new tin-plated steel production waste, in all shapes and sizes, clean or contaminated with other packaging material.

Non-ferrous metals

Limburg Recycling only trades in certain specific non-ferrous metals such as shredder metals and metals from waste incineration plants.

Stainless steel/non-ferrrous
metals incineration scrap

Stainless steel that is manually sorted by the WIP/WEC bottom ash processing machines. We can also process contaminated stainless steel waste streams.

Copper motors incineration scrap

Copper iron fraction (electric motors and transformers) with a copper percentage between 12 and 15%, that have been manually sorted at the WIP/WEC bottom ash processing machines.

Schredder motors

Copper iron shredder motors (electric motors and transformers) from car shredders or electronics shredders. Manually sorted or mechanically separated with contamination.

Mixed shredder metals

Mixed metal fraction from shredder installations or after separation of shredder installations for scrap and electronics, including precious metals containing metals.
