Vacancy Trader

You will be working in a small team, where there is a lot of room to fill your own position. In the role of trader, you are an indispensable link within our company. Our relationships consist mainly of scrap dealers, tire recyclers, industrial companies, recycling companies and waste incinerators. It's a real man's world. We are looking for just the one who loves to be tested. Who takes care himself to be taken seriously in this world.

Work

  • You will maintain contact with both suppliers and customers where, on the one hand, you are responsible for your goals and, on the other hand, continue to listen and move with your relationships.
  • Identify and monitor market and product developments, you will report these to the general manager.
  • You know from experience that face-to-face contact is absolutely necessary to achieve a partnership. You regularly visit both customers ánd suppliers in the assigned market areas.
  • (Establish) goals related to the market (customers/suppliers).
  • The working area will mainly be the Netherlands, if proven suitable it may possibly be expanded to the rest of Europe.
Furthermore, you are continuously keen on optimizing internal business operations, administrative and logistical processes and procedures. You will pick up all other common tasks that come along daily to a greater or lesser extent. In our compact organization with short lines, you will fall under the direct supervision of the office manager.

Qualifications and skills

  • You have a completed MBO4/HBO education and are available full time.
  • A person with strong communication and writing skills in at least Dutch, German and English. Proficiency in the French language is a plus.
  • You stand your ground, value external care, radiate reliability and self-assurance.
  • Despite your sales DNA, you are also very meticulous, setting high standards for yourself. It is necessary to work accurately to avoid errors in recording.
  • You keep appointments, take initiative and are decisive.
  • You get energized just thinking about making/closing deals with customers.
  • You are commercial; You are a hunter, think in opportunities and have the need to excel in sales and margin. You love the thrill of closing a good deal! In doing so, you look for the right solution for the customer, you are a kei in negotiating because you are strong on your feet.
  • You are hands-on; If there is a problem you pick up the phone immediately, instead of sending an email! We want to have to slow you down, not turn you up.
