Recycling rates of more than 90% are achieved through return of discarded materials to the cycle. In this way the entire industry limits the quarry of increasingly scarce primary raw materials. In addition, there are enormous energy savings in the recycling of metals compared to using primary raw materials. The recovery of raw materials from discarded materials is called Urban Mining. Because Limburg Recycling travels directly from the source to the final destination, we limit direct emissions and pollution by unnecessary transports and handling.

\n\nBecause we place secondary raw materials as high as possible in the supply chain, the supplier receives a better yield and there is little loss of raw materials.
